This website will examine these origins, arguing how remnants of racism continue to shape our understandings of York County history.<br><br>I believe that York County history is not deliberately hard to trace; rather, the oversaturation of information in neighboring cities tends to overshadow the richness of history in this small, comparatively rural county. York County deserves better historical coverage to represent its many communities.
